We are pleased to announce version 6 of the software used by Adventist Church Connect. All software updates automatically appear on all Adventist Church Connect websites. These recent updates came about directly because of requests from site administrators.
The most important part of your site is its appearance. We’ve listened to our customer’ input and made the graphical editor easier to use. The WSIWYG, or “what you see is what you get,” editor allows you to create and edit page content within an easy-to-use Word-like editor, or you can copy and paste content directly from a Word document.
One of our biggest requests was for auto-saving in-progress updates on Adventist Church Connect websites. The new auto-save feature saves content created in your editor every 5 minutes.
Because many people can access a page at the same time, we’ve implemented an article lock. When one person is editing an article, and another person tries to edit the same article, a notice is shown that warns that the specific article is being worked on by someone else.
